David German
y memories of Ed Parker was working side by side building the custom studio in Pasadena. Designing the mat area, hammering nails and doing the plumbing for the bathroom. Along with my instruction, building this studio made me feel apart of the Kenpo system, not just a student of the Art. The Pasadena studio became like a home to me.
As a young Black Belt in Jutsu, Ed Parker constantly praised me into working the techniques into the Kenpo system and cultivating my creativity and thus the TAI KENPO system was born. Now 38 years later, Tai Kenpo is 106 schools strong thanks to the push by Ed Parker to challenge me to be me.
I'm currently a close and a personal friend to the Parker's. I want to thank the Parker family for keeping the Kenpo strong, we also in the Tai Kenpo system keep the Ed Parker system strong.
Thank You Ed & Leilani and family for being there.
